Avid Editors Needed

New high profile broadcast, film and audio post production
facility in Reno is accepting resumes for daily call Avid
editors. We are putting together a list of daily hire/freelance
editors to draw from. Ideal candidates will have a regular
working background with Avid Symphony 5, however all editors
with Media Composer, Film Composer, Newscutter and the various
Xpress versions are encouraged to submit a resume. Work will
be all levels of film and video editing from major features
and network broadcast to local industrial content, so all
experience levels will be considered. A very good eye for
composition, concept and design is mandatory and should be
demonstrated through your “reel”. Should have very good people
skills and patience with clients and be able to work very
long sessions and feature cutters should be available for
several months of lockout on a feature. Compensation commensurate

Experience with the following a plus: Adobe After Effects
6 and later, Photoshop 7 and later and Premiere Pro and Premiere
6.5 and later. Discreet/Autodesk Inferno, Flame, Fire, Combustion
(any levels), 3D Studio Max 5 and later, Maya 6 and later.
Apple Final Cut Pro 4 and later. .
