Needed for National Lifestyle Magazine

Writers and contributors needed on a freelance basis for an
up-and-coming national lifestyle magazine for and about Hispanic-American
women.
The magazine will be written in English and will include articles and
editorials on fashion, beauty, entertainment, health, fitness, cuisine and
various social and cultural issues affecting the modern Hispanic woman
living in the United States.
Writers should be experienced and must have a working knowledge and/or
interest in pop-culture, trends, fashion and entertainment within the
Hispanic-American market. Female writers of a Hispanic, bi-cultural
background preferred, but all inquiries will be considered.
We are currently looking for contributors with the following
talents/specialties:
Fashion Editor/Stylist: Someone to work with editor to pick out
current trends and produce copy for style sections including accessories,
haute couture, celebrity style and runway looks. Each issue will also
include a major fashion spread. Applicants with experience working in the
industry and with established contacts within preferred. Candidate should
reside in South Florida.
Health/Fitness/Nutritionist Contributor: Person with a health and
fitness background needed on a monthly basis to work with editor and
supply content on topics including nutrition, fitness techniques, diets
and general health concerns.
Lifestyle Writers: Experienced writers are needed to produce
feature articles on topics of interest to Hispanic-American women. Story
topics will range from love and romance, to health, finance, career,
travel and current social and cultural issues. Story and content ideas are
welcome.
Astrologer: Experienced astrologer needed to produce monthly
horoscope section and astrology specials.
We are still in the development stages and are in the process of creating
a base team. The magazine is scheduled to launch next year.
