Children at Risk, a Houston based non-profit/think tank focused on
research and innovation surrounding children’s and education issues is
looking for a part-time staff writer.
Writer who can write creatively and technically. Children
at Risk writes, researches, and publishes the Growing Up in
Houston series of books highlighting areas of concern and
hope in regards to children in Houston. The successful candidate
will be a primary writer and work with the research staff
and senior editor to bring project to successful completion.
Tasks will include compiling information, generating article
ideas, writing from a variety of perspectives, establishing
editorial direction and contributing to other publications
within the organization.
Job location is Houston
Compensation: Negotiable
This is a part-time job at a non-profit organization.
