Sapient Experienced Marketing is looking for a gifted writer/editor
with a strong marketing and digital media background, able to take
clients’ visions and discern the right voice for each assignment, always
keeping in mind the clients’ ultimate objective (branding, market
penetration, engaging customers in unique and engaging experiences, etc.).
As Copywriter/Editor, you will do more than sound clever: you will
craft content that produces incredible experiences for the reader and in
turn, our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Write, edit, post, proof content and copy
• Communicate with team leads to coordinate concept, copy, interface,
graphic design and navigational structure of project with functional
aspects
• Work with the team to develop digital media experiences that exceed
client goals, carry out the creative vision, and fulfill Marketing &
Strategy's mission
• Assist in leading, developing and growing the copy/content team
Qualifications
• Two to three years of editorial experience in an advertising or
marketing environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Journalism, English or
Communications
• Portfolio/writing samples
• Experience with brand advertising and direct marketing writing a plus
Skills
• Clearly understands the stylistic differences between writing for the
Web and writing for printed media
• Interest in addressing and advocating for the end user's overall
experience
• Great copy/editing and proofing skills
• Working knowledge of graphic design and information architecture
methodologies
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well on teams
• Detailed oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet strict
deadlines
• Working knowledge of Mac and Windows, plus an understanding of browser
capabilities and the constraints of the Web
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Access,
Excel, Front Page and PowerPoint; HTML knowledge a plus
