a variety of openings in our rapidly growing Marketing Communications
department for the newly created Translation Services group.
Manager of Translation Services – This professional
will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance
on methodologies and processes while assembling and guiding
a team of translation/localization experts to satisfy a variety
of language projects including marketing communications materials,
technical publications, engineering and product software for
a progressive consumer electronics company. This includes
recruiting, hiring and retaining a world class team of Translation
Specialists, providing management and coordination of projects,
providing language/linguistic leadership to guide language
translation experts to convert highly technical product descriptions,
supervising the translations and localization of creative
copy, planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring and problem
solving of daily activities, working closely with engineering
and marketing leaders to understand product, sales, distribution,
and marketing objectives, and serving as needed as a liaison
to serve our European distributors.
