is seeking a dedicated, detail oriented individual with solid
writing and data/information organization skills to develop
online content and to help manage the L10s directory
Job
Description This
position will be responsible for researching topics and writing
optimized online content.
Primary
Tasks:
- Write
posts for LevelTen's Buzzlevel Blog that reports on hot
Internet trends
- Research
websites and write site summaries for the l10s.com directory
- Write
content for client sites
Secondary
Tasks:
- Review
directory submissions for approval
- Writing/optimizing
online text ads
- Submittingsites
to third party online directories (e.g. DMOZ
& Yahoo!
Directory)
- Registering
sites for design awards
- Online
content networking
Job Skills No
technical experience or college degree is required, just the
ability to write insightful, compelling copy.
Candidates
should have the following skills:
- Strong
grammar and spelling
- Aptitude
for creative writing
- Ability
to organize and classify information/data
- Thoroughness
and highly detail minded
- Solid
word processing skills
- Solid
online research skills
- At
least a moderate level of familiarity with the Internet
and online search engines
Bonus
Skills:
- Experience
in website authoring/editing
- Experience
with search engine marketing
