Write creative product descriptions for Outdoor Gear products
We are seeking a creative writer to write product descriptions
for outdoor gear that will be sold on our soon-to-be launched
website. This is a contract position.
About us:We will soon launch our website, www.campridgeline.com,
to sell a wide range of high quality outdoor gear including
tents, backpacks and apparel. Our target audience is upper
middle class and high-end gear users for both family and extreme
expeditions. We want our site, and our product descriptions,
to have an “intimate, helpful, high-end, advice-filled, technical”
feel. We hope to develop an online community of outdoor enthusiasts
(chat rooms, mini-blogs, etc.) and your descriptions can help
create the tone we want: “small/intimate/helpful, but knowledgeable
and technical.”
The ideal candidate will be an experienced creative writer
that can write casual, helpful and technical descriptions
for a variety of products. Product information will be provided,
so experience or familiarity with outdoor gear while helpful,
is not required.
