Round Rock, TX (15 min, north of Austin): Fulltime,
in-house position. Seeking dynamic, nutrition-oriented
writer/copy editor in large, upscale, very popular nutrition
co. to edit/update order sheets, ads, labels, catalogs (highly
detail-oriented); help create appealing nutrition info sheets
and ads (very minimal layout design); meet strict ad deadlines;
strong writing skills to compose summaries of nutrition information
and book chapters for our upcoming book to go to the national
level and more; manage print production projects ans customer
email/fax blasts.
Requirements: Genuine interest in healthy lifestyles/
nutrition; meticulous proofreader for grammar, spelling &
content; can fact-check and create interesting summaries.
Has working knowledge of PhotoShop, PageMaker and InDesign.
College degree in communication/writing skills a plus.
Experience: No freelancers, please. Minimum
1 to 3 years recent, fulltime employment in a media-related
position.
