century to be opened by Six Senses in 2007
Six Senses Bangkok Hub – February 2007:
Six Senses Resorts & Spas will see 2007 as its most significant year
of development as it prepares to open two Evason Hideaways, plus launch
its first destination spa as an extension of its acclaimed Six Senses
Spas. The three properties, which exemplify the Six Senses environmental
commitment, have been developed under the direction of the Six Senses
design and creative teams and promise to set new standards in style and
levels of guest service.
Evason Hideaway at Zighy Bay - Oman, opens June 2007. Positioned as
the finest boutique resort in the Middle East, the Evason Hideaway & Six
Senses Spa at Zighy Bay establishes a new benchmark for the region.

the gateway city of Dubai. The dramatic setting, with mountains on one
side and a 1.6 kilometres white sand beach at Zighy Bay, on the other,
hosts 82 pool villas, pool villa suites and pool duplexes, including the
three-bedroom Retreat – all with butler service. Several villas offer
personal spa suites, and ten villas have accommodations for live-in staff.

positioning of Innovative Style. Three dining alternatives include a
stunning dinner experience perched high atop the mountains overlooking
Zighy Bay. There is an impressive wine cellar and a private marina.

Hamams. In addition to the 82 private pools, the resort also boasts a
large central swimming pool plus a fully-equipped gymnasium.

Innovative Style – Beyond Phuket positions this Evason Hideaway as the
first property to introduce world class innovation and unequalled service
standards to a destination off the mainstream. The often featured Thai
limestone outcrops of Phang Nga Bay and the natural environment are the
unique location for the Evason Hideaway. Access is by a 40-minute boat
trip from Phuket or 10 minutes in the resort’s own helicopter.
Comprising just 56 pool villas in three styles, including the 3-bedroom
Reserve and the 2-bedroom Retreat, the resort is set in natural vegetation
enhanced with tropical landscaping, which provides privacy between the
villas. Several villas offer personal spa suites, and all are served by
pool villa butlers. The design and material selection is based on
attention to detail and commitment to the environment, creating an
uncompromising standard of comfort.
Several dining options offer inspired world cuisine, with tandoori and
wood-fired ovens and an open grill, together with Mediterranean dishes and
an authentic taste of Thailand - complete with noodle bar. There’s a
dramatic glassed-in duplex wine cellar, a chef’s table and a close at hand
organic vegetable garden for the freshest salads.
Skilled therapists of the Six Senses Spa create sensory journeys
for guests, with a range of holistic wellness and pampering treatments.

Asian long-house.
