Western Social Service Forum WRSSF has been formed
by 16 Diocesan Societies of the 15 Catholic Dioceses of Maharashtra,
Gujarat and Goa. WRSSF is the Social Work wing of the CBCI (Catholic
bishop’s council of India) in the Western Region of India. It inspires,
animates, supports and promotes developmental interventions of these
16 DSSS of the region for the integral development in persons without
any bias to caste, creed, religion and linguistic groups so that
they may individual and collectively reach the fullness of growth.
The forum and the programme based on regional needs thus it has
further localized by dividing into four zones: Gujarat, Marathwada,
Konkan and Vidharbha respectively. Our concern issues are “Human
trafficking, farmer suicide and capacity building of the Partners
Organisations. In human trafficking issues we create awareness and
sensitize all the partners and stake holders with an effort to prevent
human trafficking and protect women and children in the region.
In FARM we are developing different technical methods of farm cultivations
to prevent farmer suicide problem in Vidharbha region. In capacity
enhancement project we are building capacities, skills and knowledge
of the all partners organizations, also try to develop professionalism
in the diocesan societies.

Greetings from ARM, BaliapalOrissa. Founded in 1989, we are a registered
social service organization at Baliapal in the coastal eastern province
of Orissa, INDIA. Missionary zeal of a handful of committed and
dedicated local youth for the cause of lifting a large segments
of economically and socially marginalized people especially the
most neglected women and children community from the vicious circle
of poverty and illiteracy began translating into action with help
and guidance of various professional and dedicated NGOs in India
& abroad. In an approach that is directed towards achieving
its mission of establishing a gender equitable society through motivation,
facilitation and self activity among the disadvantaged rural women,
youth and children. ARM has under taken successful interventions
in the areas of community based disaster management, primary
education, adult literacy, women & child rights, mother and
children health care, agriculture promotion, livelihood restoration,
vocational training, family planning, Micro enterprise development
and women leadership through SHG to ensure their empowerment process.
The philosophy being bringing underprivileged and vulnerable rural
mass to the mainstream of social living efforts have been exercised
through a large network of Women Self Help Groups to fight impending
forces that have thrown the Indian rural majority into the plight

ASSOCIATION is an organization of young & energetic youths working
for the welfare of the people in the field of health & environment
for which as an organization we are committed to provide free medicines
and doctors services to the ailing patients by coordinating with
institutions and organizations. We are also committed to create
a healthy environment for future generations by educating people
on different aspects like water conservation, plantation and making
people aware to avoid different diseases. Rising Youth Association,
started with a few slums (with limited objectives) located at Ludhiana
(Punjab), has now covered many underdeveloped areas with a view
to give community people a proper meaning of life and help them
to develop in all aspects of life. Rising Youth Association was
Registered under the societies Registration act XX1 of 1860 Amended
by Punjab Amendment Act 1957,No.241 of 2008-09), is able to function
mainly on the generous donations both in terms of money and non-monetary
support.
Primary Objectives of the organization
(Activities of Rising Youth Association) The organization mainly
intends to explore in the following areas with some specific aims
and objectives: - 1. Health
It is said that health is wealth. Modern medicine is often accused
for its preoccupation with the understanding of disease, and neglects
the understanding of health. Consequently, our ignorance about health
continues to be profound as for example, the determinants of health
are not yet clear, the current definitions of health are elusive
and there is no single yardstick for measuring health. Health continues
to be a neglected entity. It has been found that there are numerous
problems faced by the community people in an around Ludhiana. Rising
Youth Association is mainly interested to work on health related
issues like HIV/AIDS counseling, awareness generation programmes
on genetic disorders, and on some common health problems which most
of the time taken in a different manner. Moreover, the organization
will try to find out the role of culture and the nature of complexities
that families face in upbringing the children, including the problems
encountered in availing the support systems especially in the remote
areas of Ludhiana (Punjab). 2. Functions of Rising Youth Association
Arranges health check-up camps, door to door surveys, counseling
on issues related to HIV/AIDS, information generation on different
health as well as social problems etc. Moreover, it organizes drawing
competition for children and also arranges awareness programs on
De-Addiction which help them to come into the main stream of the
society. 3. How Can You Help

Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS) is
a non – governmental organization (NGO) based in Ajmer District
of Rajasthan, the largest populated state in India. The organization
was founded in the year 1992, by the group of young sensitive youths
in the interest of the society. RSKS is a pioneer in promotion of
income generation activities (IGAs) for the deprived sections of
the community. RSKS believes that the rural poor are capable of
determining and building their future provided they are supported
