Thiruvananthapuram – Known for

acclaimed beach, located just 16 kms south of Trivandrum city. In

activities as well as relaxing in the pleasures of Ayurvedic massages
and treatments. The 2 main beaches here are the Eve’s beach and the

Kozhikode (Calicut) Beach – The
Kozhikode Beach is a popular and frequently visited beach of Calicut.
The beach offers much in terms of entertainment to the discerning
traveller. On weekends and especially during festivals, people of
Calicut like to come out here and enjoy themselves in the refreshing
outdoors.

Bekal Beach,
Kasaragod - Located quite close
to the Bekal Fort in Kasaragod is the Bekal Beach or the Bekal Fort
Beach. Getting here is easy by road, rail or air. |

come to this well maintained beach in large numbers and enjoy its white
sands and beautiful sunset. Other attractive features include a water
park for kids, and free parking space.

Shanghumugham Beach, Thiruvananthapuram -
While in Trivandrum, you must make it a
point to visit this fabulous beach, located very close to the
Thiruvananthapuram Airport and just about 8 km from the main city.
Watching the sunset here is guaranteed to be a sight for sore eyes.
Other attractions at the Shanghumugham Beach include – Chacha Nehru
Traffic Training Park where kids come to learn traffic rules, a large
and beautiful sculpture of a Jalakanya or mermaid made by Sri and a star
shaped restaurant. Fishing is a common sight here. During weekends and
holidays, the beach attracts people in large numbers.
