World
The world is
slowly rotting, there is filth everywhere.
Though humans are increasing, humanity is scarce.
Grabbers are on the rise, givers are no where.
Happiness is dying a slow death, tears seem to be everywhere.
Greed is the
leader which makes people blind,
Selfishness is the motto, truth is last in line.
People crave impossible things, killing each other to get them,
God has long been forgotten, though temples are everywhere.
Spirituality
has lost its meaning, while preachers abound here and there.
Gratitude and compassion are words of the past,
Jostling and shoving are words of the present.
I wish all
this would change, when I open my eyes again.
