Tomar Chhobi

Amar mon tomar chhobi ekechhilo;
Hotat ekdin sei chhobita hariye gelo;
Konodin take khojar chesta korini,
Konodin tar janyo dukho-o korini.


Surjo sisirer bhitor atmasamarpan kare,
Chand megher pichone kalanka lukoy,
Bataser ashariri dambhe patara bicholito hoy,
Bristir michhil akasher rajpath beye neme ashe,

Bidyut akasher buke bidroher dag rekhe jaye,
Samudra deuyer chhobole kshata-bikhsata hoy,
Samay atite na pherar aksamataye dirghaswas phele,
Sristir satantra chhondo nishabde mathha rakhe anasristir kole;

Eisab sandhikhan asale prakitir ek kaushal,
Eder diye tomar chhobi ankabar ek barthho prayas;
Kintu prakiti jane na je, se sato chestateo
Konodino amar bhalobasar tuli hoye uthte parbe na.
