Morning light streams to greet
A content feel I wake from sleep
Time that ticks my moments hue
Comforting thoughts I think of you.
Day begins, uncertainties tide along
Wonder when and how question strong
A prayer unfolds, it must, I beseech
Of joy and safety from harmful meet.
From dawn to dusk, a transition blink
This day is o'er, much to think
The mighty God I look upon
To Him I thank, so well is gone.
The night drifts away in silent stare
The moon above with gentle glare
And as you lay a wink to sleep
