Jewels of Nature
With leaves of gold and
green,
And branches that do lean
On the wind that pants and heaves,
And rustles through the leaves;
With birds that fly so
high,
And trees that touch the sky:
What a wonderful place this is,
Overflowing with eternal bliss!
The sky is embedded with sapphires,
The sun is one big pearl;
The earth in her beautiful attire,
And the waves in seas that curl;
The meadows are filled
with flowers,
And as I sit in the shade,
I wonder on for hours and hours:
These jewels that God has made!
