Sitting in the History Class,
looking out of the polished class,
thinking about Hitler's Nazism,
as well as Italy's Fascism.
Wondering about Neanderthal Man,
J.M. Barrie authored Peter Pan,
Reading about the French Revolution
And about Man's evolution.
When Britain established his reign,
Victoria was its Queen.
After the First World War,
France occupied coal-rich Saar.
After reading about Jallianwala Massacre,
I felt the Britishers were a bit mediocre.
Thinking about Hindu-Muslim fights,
for separate communal rights.
I read about the revolt of the Russians,
wondering who were the Prussians.
I wonder why History,
is always such a mystery.
