Those Were The Days
Moving backwards to LIFE called childhood…Full of fun, bliss, beauty
forgotten now
Small
angelic eyes showering unconditional love…Just play no care, amazed
I did it how
Walked, slipped, got up to walk again…Small feet discovered world
through tiny steps
Childhood
friends chosen by god Himself…Spending moments worth treasure limitless
Sat first time holding Momma’s fingers firmly…King of hearts, played
innocent till drop
Smiles
soared like sun engulfed in clouds…Unknown pleasure spread around
in flock
Soft like flowers, silly utterances of prayers…Easy life sans pain
echoing sheer joy
No hurry
no worry full of life…Precious moments of pleasure with broken toy
Tiny arms reached for hugs and kisses… Touched souls with pure blessed
smile
Memories
of childhood found missing… Oh Childhood! Why YOU flew with time
Turn
Back O Time in Your Stride...Make Me a Child Just for Tonight!
