20th Century

I am thinking,
How this 20th century will be presented,
In history after 100 years,

That this was the century,
Of brutal murders and massacres,

In this century,
The apostles of peace
Were silenced by bullets,

This was the century,
Two world wars were fought,

In this century,
Men progressed very much,
But towards their own destruction
