what with the large number of applicants Placement firms and HR heads have
to deal with everyday. Usually leading to an on-site interview, the
purpose of a telephone interview is to screen potential employees and to

charged so that your phone does not go low on battery, thus leading to breaks in
the conversation.

interviewer. Wait
for the interviewer to complete what they are saying, listen well and then
answer the questions confidently.

unprofessional caller tunes.

If you are taking the call

send a thank you note after your telephonic interview thanking the
interviewer for giving you the opportunity to present your candidature.
Add in a line about your interest in appearing for the on-site interview.
